Featured AACSB-Accredited Information Systems Program
The VCU FTEMS program is a Featured AACSB-Accredited Information Systems Program on the AACSB Best Business Schools site. AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, is a not-for-profit membership organization for educational institutions, corporations, governments, and others that are devoted to the promotion and improvement of higher education in business administration and management. FTEMS Grads Receive Honors
Ten Class of 2008 students were inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International, at the School of Business Awards Ceremony on May 2, 2008. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International. In addition, 3 students were named Dean's Scholars for 2008: Cheri Spence, Nancy Tickle, and John Skaritza.

Program Finalist in Educator Award
This past April, the VCU Executive MS in IS program was a finalist for the Greater Richmond Technology Council’s Educator Award. This award is presented annually to that educator or school program that provides exceptional technology leadership, and encourages students to pursue higher education or training in engineering, math, and the sciences.
